A woman takes a break from her career to become a housewife, but soon her home life takes a surreal turn. The film was originally planned to be released immediately on the streaming service Hulu, but rave reviews at test screenings prompted Searchlight Pictures to release it in wide theatrical release instead. Mentioned on Saturday Night Live: Gene Smart/Jelly Roll (2024). Riding Carousel» Performed by Alexander McCabe Script by Alexander McCabe. The film is generally good, but I expected it to be more dark and terrifying, rather than comedic.
bold and funny
Although I am not a parent now, I fully share the themes presented. If you have any questions about motherhood and female rage, you may find this film insightful. The script is also well written; some dialogues of the characters are definitely a talented female director who can adapt a seemingly impossible book into a successful film. Adams is undoubtedly stunning. This is her best performance I’ve seen so far, and possibly the best performance I’ve seen this year.
She really gives the role
The depth of her performance is evident in the intricate details of her facial expressions, which perfectly convey her anger, joy, and pain. likely mood from her own experience as a real-life mother. This personal connection elevates her performance, making it both relatable and authentic. I can’t help but feel a strong connection between her image and my own mother, as if she captures the essence of a mother’s love and sacrifice in a way that really speaks to me. This film seems to be causing controversy to this day.
No, definitely not
I’ve seen some people disparage her performance, and many feel that Adams shouldn’t have won or even been nominated for this strange role. For me, acting awards are always based on the game, not the film. She is the driving force of the film. She should definitely be nominated or even win. Passion should not disappear.
Also, Scoot McNairy is fantastic
I hope that more people will be able to understand and understand my arguments. Despite some flaws, the film is worth watching. Check out our list of exciting new films from this year’s film festivals, including Venice, TIFF, New York and more.
